About Sarah

New Vision. New Voice.

My name is Sarah Lehman, and I have proudly called London home for nearly two decades. I originally moved here to attend King's University College and quickly fell in love with the people, neighborhoods, and strong sense of community that make London special.

I have worked across the nonprofit, public, and private sectors, always with a focus on helping people navigate challenges, access support, and feel heard. My career has given me the opportunity to work closely with Londoners from many different walks of life and has shaped my belief that government should be accessible, compassionate, and responsive to the people it serves.

I previously worked with the City of London, helping residents behind the scenes connect with city services and solve issues impacting their daily lives. I also worked in a provincial constituency office supporting Londoners with concerns related to healthcare, housing, affordability, and social services. These experiences gave me firsthand insight into the barriers people face and the importance of practical, community-focused leadership.

Much of my work and volunteer experience has centered around advocacy, accessibility, community engagement, and supporting vulnerable populations. I have worked with organizations including the London Abused Women's Centre, Family Service Thames Valley, Community Living London, Pillar Nonprofit Network, Alice Saddy Association and the list goes on.

Community involvement and civic engagement has always been important to me. I have volunteered on provincial and federal election campaigns, helped drive residents to polling stations during by-elections to ensure they could vote, gathered donations for organizations supporting people experiencing homelessness, and fostered kittens through the London Animal Care Centre.

I believe leadership starts with listening. I know many Londoners are frustrated with rising costs, growing pressures on public services, housing instability, and feeling disconnected from decision-making at City Hall. I am passionate about building a London that is more connected, transparent, affordable, safe, and responsive to everyday people.

Outside of work and community involvement, I enjoy reading, movies, gardening, board games, and spending time with friends, and my growing family.

I believe everyday people can make meaningful change when they work together, and I am committed to continuing that work for the people of London.
